WWE’s CM Punk, Seth Rollins Get in Heated Altercation On Video During Fanatics Fest

CM Punk and Seth Rollins’ long-running beef took center stage Saturday at Fanatics Fest, as tensions boiled over when a visibly fired-up Punk crashed Rollins’ live appearance.

Rollins, A.K.A Mr. Money in the Bank, was flaunting his briefcase when Punk began to approach the stage. A shove from Punk escalated tensions, prompting event staff and security to quickly intervene and separate the two.

Rollins stormed off, dismissively waving off the former multi-time World Heavyweight Champion. Meanwhile, Punk regained his composure as his entrance music hit, the screen behind him shifted to his presentation, and he prepared to take the stage for his segment.

Punk has been on the losing end of his recent clashes with Rollins, dropping three straight head-to-head matchups. The skid began with a brutal steel cage loss, followed by a defeat in a high-stakes triple threat match at WrestleMania. Most recently, at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rollins teamed up with Bron Breakker to take down Punk and Sami Zayn in tag team action.

Despite Punk not currently holding a title—and therefore being of no use to Rollins’ Money in the Bank contract—their long-standing rivalry refuses to take a backseat. With years of animosity fueling every interaction, it’s clear this feud is far from finished.
