OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – The Oklahoma Lottery Commission is hoping to get a makeover with legislative approval.
Due to an evolving gambling and gaming landscape, the commission wants to eventually create an “iLottery” platform.
They want to sell tickets online as 11 other states do. It’s still not clear if The Lottery Commission will approve.
Organizations that help people with gambling addiction are vying to be sure there is a wellness program included in the new system.
Reportedly more than 6% of Oklahomans have a gambling disorder.
