Tecno is finally getting ready to launch its new Pova phone series, and this time they’re bringing something fresh. The company shared a teaser video recently showing off a mystery phone with no name — but now we know what it’s called: Tecno Pova Curve 5G .
This new phone looks pretty cool. It has a curved screen that bends on both sides — from the front and the back. Compared to older Pova phones, this one looks thinner and more stylish.
In the teaser, you can only see the side view of the phone along with the name written in the background. There’s an orange part on the side which is the power button, making it easier to find. You can also see a shiny metal frame and a vertical camera setup at the back.
The teaser didn’t show too many details, but earlier, Tecno had shared another clip that gave us a look at the camera design. It looks like the usual flashy Pova style — with glowing LED lights around the camera. So, it still feels like a real Pova phone.
This is actually Tecno’s first attempt at making a premium-looking phone for the Pova family, and they seem to have nailed it. The Pova Curve 5G is definitely the most exciting model we’ve seen in the whole Pova line so far.
Right now, there’s not much info online about the phone’s full specs, but we do know about the storage options:
- Top model: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
- Mid variant: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
- Entry-level: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
Even the top version is expected to stay in the budget-friendly range , so it won’t be super expensive.
This year, Tecno plans to release several models under the Pova 7 series , targeting different kinds of users:
- Tecno Pova 7 (LJ6) – basic model
- Tecno Pova 7 5G (LJ7) – entry-level 5G option
- Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G (LJ8) – higher-end model
- Tecno Pova Curve 5G (LJ8k) – the stylish curved-screen version
- And maybe even a Pova 7 Pro+ 5G (LJ9) as the top-of-the-line model
So, if you’re looking for a new budget-friendly phone with some premium looks, the Tecno Pova Curve 5G might just be your next favorite.
