Rapper losses fingers in horrific Fourth of July fireworks accident

The dangers of fireworks are highlighted and the warning go out every Fourth of July.

Be careful because one mistake can be costly.

Rapper 4xtra apparetnly didn’t get the memo this holiday weekend because he reporteldy blew several of his fingers off.

The co-host of the “No Jumper” podcast shared a video of himself holding unlit fireworks in his hand on Friday, where he humorously asked, “Who wants to get blown up today?…I’m blowing somebody up today.”

But later that day, the rapper ended the festive holiday by injuring himself. The gruesome picture of his damaged hand had been posted on the podcast’s X account. The caption read that the rapper had “reportedly blown off his hand with a firework.”

Coming to clarify his friend’s injuries was “No Jumper” co-host Adam Grandmaison, better known as Adam 22.

On his personal account, he wrote, “I’m hearing that 4xtra only lost 2 fingers, not the whole hand. Also, he was blind for a few hours, but apparently his vision is back.”

Even though the rapper has yet to confirm what his injuries are exactly following the freak accident, his sister Emily created a GoFundMe page to aid with his medical expenses.

“On the 4th of July, 4XTRA was injured in a firework accident,” the description reads. “As many of you know, medical care can be incredibly expensive and add up very fast.”

“Resan [4Extra] is someone who lights up every room with his humor and energy. If you’ve ever laughed with him, shared a moment, or simply care about his well-being, Any support-from donations to prayers or even just sharing this-means the world to us,” she wrote.

At this time, the GoFundMe has raised $7,595 of its $30,000 goal.

The rapper became one of the hosts of the “No Jumper” podcast back in January.
